13. Eventuelt.org - Posters
Four promotion-posters for a continuous spring-exhibition in the installation-space 'Box', Lynfabrikken, Aarhus, 2012
12. 'TO BE HUMAN'
Poster contest, Aarhus, 2012. An abstraction commenting on the arabic spring. The losses of thousands innocent civilians, but also the courage and power within the people - sporadic yet determined on a brighter future. Grasping the rise of the internet, fluid, anarchistic and uncontrollable.
11. 'Louise Egebro'
Website and identity for fashion designer Louise Egebro. Focusing on the experience of exploration and rhythm, the site encourages users to look ‘beneath’ and to ‘travel’ trough the clothes collections. From an aesthetic point of view the site flirts with kitch and camp, complementing the content in many ways.Visit the site.
10. ELEMENTARY
Display font for the electronic-duo Matmos. Music broken down consists of tones, scales, components and elements, that all live inside a predefined frame. In a horizontal space these elements composes a rhythm. My font is based on the exact same ideas, and all letters and numbers are found on the same basic elements.
09. DEMONS IN APT ABOVE
Fictive 'search log' storytelling. Access to the search logs of 650.000 users was leaked in 2006 by AOL (America Online), allowing anyone to tap in to the database, giving the possibility to find patterns, secrets and dark sides of each leaked user. The project is a comment on the almost total revealing of the exposed users, who felt safe and home while searching the web. Our video portraits four internet users: User 2281868, User 8037718, User 317966 and User 3760126, and connects these loosely with a continuos flow of videos exposing persons in their, supposedly, safe and spy-free home.
08. GAZELLE
A school project for Unicef Research Department. We wanted to create a map giving an overview of Unicefs entangled work with the countries they are supporting, underlining the importance and mutual dependency of participation form all actors involved in the work of Unicef. We created a prototypic 'map' relying on the Zoomooz-plugin, that allows the user to zoom around the map and explore freely. The changing african-inspired pattern binds the different video-islands together, as a metaphor for Unicefs inseparable workflow. Again the site is prototypic with issues related to screen-resolution (if your screen is to small, dezoom your browser (CMD + -)), smoothness of the CSS transitions and many more. Please bear with it.
XX. OUT OF PLACE
An ongooing photoblog exploring and exploiting objects, things and beeings - all out of place.
07. METAMORPHOSIS
‘METAMORPHOSIS’ is an ongoing experiment with the limitation and potential of ‘Google Translate’. It explores the morphing of sentences when exposed to ‘Google translate’.A quote is translated alphabetically through ‘Google Translate’, thereby cycling through all available languages and returning to its original language. Currently the project consists of three 66 page handbound editions.
06. DTI
A school course on developing an identity for 'Design to Innovate', a small consultancy company of Designskolen Kolding. The identity manifests it self in a physical logo-generator and reflects the essence of innovation: the creation of new constallations from different fields which generates new, unseen outcome. Be sure to watch the demo-video.
05. HITCHHIKING
A hiking-book-project. The summer of 2010 I went hitchhiking through Europe with a friend of mine. I Took a portrait-photo of every driver we were picked up by, and of every person who helped us. The photos were collected the in a book, of which I made a personal copy for each of the drivers and helpers. The books was sent by post in the spring of 2011. Giving our helpers the possibility to 'meet' each other.
04. IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE AN IMAGE
An art-project depending on participants contribution through fax-machine. The project was open to everyone, but had the qoute; "It takes two to make an image" as a broad reference point. Our fax-machine was open for three days, receiving and printing more than 120 faxes. The project took place in Århus, Denmark, November 2010. The contributions was printed and published.
03. FRAKTURA
A three week school-project in font design. My idea was to pick out some characteristics from fracture-fonts and to combine them with modern geometric fonts, ie. futura. The combination resulted in a tall and slender font.
02. META-SURVEY
Research is a four week programme on fourth semester. The subject was the danish public school system, and the themes and issues related to this. This week-project is a meta-survey, trying to map fellow students obtained knowledge about the danish public school system.
